Launching from Gantry Plaza State Park (51 Ave on the East River, LIC, Queens)
Course: Counter-clockwise circumnavigation of Manhattan.
Tickets: $250 per approved participant (20 max) as a tax deductible donation to the ESF College Foundation. Scholar to be chosen by the SUNY ESF Center for Native People and the Environment. The scholarship can be used by students on campus or online, to most readily include the descendants of people from this estuary area who were forcibly relocated out of New York State.

Come join a voyage that’s a rite of passage for New Yorkers! You’ll paddle with favorable tidal currents for 30 miles, resting at spots most people haven’t visited. You’ll stop for lunch and learn a bit about this estuary’s history, including the central Lenape role – past and future.
